Parent-Organized Community Bus | Operated by CTS | 2025–2026 School Year

Background

The Irvine Troy Bus Service was launched in Fall 2021 by a group of dedicated parent volunteers in Irvine. In partnership with a professional school bus operator (CTS), this community-led service provides safe and structured transportation to and from Troy High School in Fullerton.

Safety, Conduct & Operations Policies

Student Safety is Priority: Use only the designated bus zones. Remind students to wait for the bus to stop before approaching.
No Passing the Bus: Please do not drive past a stopped bus with the stop sign extended. Violations may be reported to law enforcement.
No Mid-Route Stops: Once the bus departs, it will not stop mid-route. Please be punctual.
No Parent Boarding: Parents are not permitted to board the bus at any time. Please use the “Contact Us” form for concerns.
Lost & Found: Left items usually remain on the bus. You may call CTS at (714) 835-8676 (5:30 AM–4:00 PM) to inquire.

Bus Tags

Each student will receive a bus tag on the first day.
Tags are required for boarding throughout the year.
Lost tags can be replaced—please contact the admin team.

Behavioral & Parking Enforcement

To maintain a safe and respectful environment for all:

Misbehavior on the Bus or Violating Parking Rules may result in action.
- 1st Incident: Formal warning, student ID noted
- 2nd Incident: Possible removal from ridership
Examples of violations:
- Boarding at unassigned stops
- Stopping or parking next to the bus
- Disregarding safety instructions
- Exchanging tags without approval from Admin team
